Hi everyone, this is my 2nd custom post.
After getting hold of the Shock Trooper, I couldn't help but notice that the sculpt is actually very close to the SoldierStory: CIA SAD. It needed just a few modifications and wave3 Snake-Eyes has the parts for it. Everything is perfect except for my customizing skills. :( Sigh!!!! I couldn't fix back the knee pegs. So this custom though is completed, is flawed. But luckily it didn't have problems posing. Anyway if you are interested, the recipe is: Head: Shock Trooper Body and Arms: Shock Trooper Upper Legs: Wave 3 Snake-Eyes Knees: Wave 3 Snake-Eyes Lower Legs: Shock Trooper Harness: ROC TRU 5 Pack Duke Helmet: Shock Trooper Goggles: BBI Figure (Can't remember which one) Knife: POC Beachhead Rifle: Marauder "Gun-Runners" modified with the "light scope" I've actually done another custom of SoldierStory:CIA SAD Ver.2 but I'm still waiting to add a harness to it before posting. Do look out for my post if you are interested. My 1st post is here if you are interested: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ops-style.html |

I picked up 5 Shock Troopers from my local Target yesterday and 2 of them, just by simple parts swapping alone, no major overhauls, can be made to look like at least 4 (prob more) really cool figures as I play with them.
My fave thing about this figure...VERSATILITY. |

Looks perfect.
About time Hasbro gave us more realistic Military Joes, now to pull their socks up and master real world camo`s, ACU camo on the ShockTrooper= TRUELY A WINNER.

Looks awesome = great job. I think we're going to see a lot of stuff come from this figure in the near future. My only gripe though, is the silly looking knee/elbow pads Hasbro gave him. Nice "real" set on SE, but this one is gets the "made up" stuff. Oh well... I guess that's why we do what we do.
