I know that it has been done to death, but I figured one more wouldn't hurt. I had the parts for a while to put this together, but when I heard that he was going to be made as a 2010 SDCC exclusive I decided to wait.
I finally got the USA and TTT versions. I don't care for them to much. They look like real life Sarge and not B.A.T. whooping toon Sarge. That is why I decided to finish this one. I did some things a little different than most of the other custom Slaughters I've seen. I wanted to keep him close to the Sunbow Sarge but the way I feel Hasbro should have updated him. I used the BnB Slaughter head (of course) and BnB Steve Austin arms. I didn't want to drill the head because I thought that I may want to put it back on the BnB body one day. Instead, I cut about half of the neck ball and drilled out a small socket that securely accepts the BnB head without changing it. Using these arms cost me a little articulation, but made up for it with ripped muscles and proper skin tone. The torso is from an Arctic Viper (same as Roadblock or Copperhead). The legs are from the single pack anniversary Hawk. I decided to go with Tripwire's belt to mimic the style from the SDCC Slaughters. The whistle was carved from spare plastic while the cord came from one of the hoist platforms that come with the ROC Baroness. I used a combination of acrylics and enamels depending on the area I was painting (the enamels stick better on the hard plastic areas such as the torso and upper legs without feeling permanently tacky). I used acrylic matte clear to seal everything. I can't access Photobucket right now, so I will post as many pics as I can. UPDATE: For those of you that have been asking, I finally put this thing up for auction and it sold for $130. I do not have it any more. Thanks And now I present Desert Cat Custom's (DCC) Sgt. Slaughter........

Looks great!!! How hard is it to take off the arms to the BnB figure and Adapting them to the Copperhead torso?

The BnB arms have a bigger head on the shoulders were they fit into the torso. All I did was file them down until they fit good. If I had another set of BnB arms, I would make the arms swivel at the elbow.

First cut off the forearm at the elbow, follow the curve of the upper arm. Next dremel a small hole into the upper arm (where the elbow is), I use a thin diamond etching dremel bit (works good and doesn't tare the plastic) Then heat the plastic in hot or boiling water and insert forearms from a 25th Shipwreck or ROC Sgt Stone. (this might require some small adjustments) Finally, cool of the plastic in cold water. I have done this already on a MU Mystic body that I used for my Evening wear Baroness (seen also in James McCullen's Office).
