This is my Rebel Angel fan fiction collection of customs. Each one has a story per link below.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...lance858a.html My Joeverse summary - 200-300 years in the future, Cobra, a ancient secret society whose list of historic leaders/Cobra Commanders include Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, and Hitler, finally succeed in taking over the world through the massive use of nukes. Survivors of that nuclear holocaust find themselves cast into a future dark age under fuedal law with Cobra dominating every aspect of their lives. It's a high tech cyber punk industrial wasteland world. For those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, their only choice is to escape into the Badlands, vast areas of nearly uninhabitable wasteland, where they live as outlaws, bandits, pirates, and or freedom fighters. Create your own band of outlaws/freedom fighters/mercenaries/pirates or your own Cobra strike force for this world! You can even have your own Sector, name it Sector WHATEVER YOU WANT, or you can be a Cobra Noble with your own land to rule. Rule it however you want. Create fantastic background stories and post away! Choose your side and let the creative juices flow! More Pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/home .

This is the last installment of my RA Joeverse.
This story is dedicated to all of the RA fans out there, so thanks to all 2 of you. You guys have encouraged me to practice my amatuer creative writing skills (I deeply apologize for my poor grammar btw) that inspired each of my custom figures. So without further delay, below is the last RA story. Part 117: How the Rebel Angels Entered Prometheus Cruising above a blanket of white clouds, the Porco Rosso (piloted by Wing Commander Fio) followed closely by the Full Metal (piloted by Lieutenant Wenry), flew in tight formation as they swayed back and forth. Fio and Wenry were piloting their fighters for what they feared would be the last time. The Porco Rosso and Full Metal pictured below with Fio and Wenry, respectively: Play this song while reading the story: They reach a clearing in the cloud cover. As the white cloud plumes slowly parted, the horrific battlefield below was unveiled. From high above, it looked as if the gray muddy field was being peppered with explosions and fire with columns of black smoke snaking towards the sky. Fio saw her comrades charging towards the Crimson Guards defensive line as tracer rounds flashed back and forth across the field. Suddenly the tracer rounds crept their way skyward at her. The Crimson Guards’ anti air guns were now fixed on the two fighters. Fio and Wenry made immediate evasive maneuvers. Fio pulled back on the control stick and pushed the throttle to maximum power sending the Porco Rosso's nose straight up into the sky and her body straight back against her seat. The engines roared violently as they gasped and hissed to cram more oxygen to its combustion chamber for more thrust. Fio felt the G-force strain on her body like lead weights smothering her into the back of her seat. She then pulled the control stick left rolling her fighter over in a wide arch across the sky. She felt the sensation of G-forces playing havoc on her senses as the shadows in her cockpit stretched across her lap while the horizon gently swayed and rolled upside down in front of her. As gravity pulled her pony tail up over the back of her head, she pulled the control stick back again and sent the upside down Porco Rosso into a furious diving attack. Fio and Wenry screamed down on the enemy gun emplacements as a massive volume of fire came up to greet them. The roaring sound from their engines drowned out any noise from the flak exploding all around them. Fio and Wenry had only one objective: take out the enemy’s artillery. As they screamed down on the Crimson Guards’ defensive line, their targeting system identified the enemy guns. Fio and Wenry immediately let loose a torrent of fire onto the enemy positions. Their ammo was a special combination of armor piercing, high explosive, and incendiary rounds. Their attack raised a curtain of fire that sliced across the enemy’s defensive line cutting down everything in its path leaving a trail of devastation blanketed in smoke and dust. Almost as fast as they screamed down, Fio and Wenry raced back above the clouds. They were followed by a formation of 6 enemy fighters. These were the Baroness’s own Companion Air Cavalry. It seems that her Royal Majesty, the Baroness, and the Cobra Immortals flagship, the HMS (Her Majesty’s Ship) Alexander reached a close enough distance to launch its fighters to support the Crimson Guard in the defense of Prometheus. All signs now indicate that the Great Cobra Commander had secured secret alliances with the Baroness and the Lords Tomax and Xamot. Watching through her binoculars from the ground, Captain Shana O’Hara (Scarlett) could see the 6 Cobra Immortals Companion Air Cavalry fighters follow Fio and Wenry in a perfect V wing formation as if they were showcasing their piloting skills to some imaginary audience. Scarlett pictured below: After they disappeared above the cloud cover, Scarlett could only see flashes of light coming from explosions above the clouds that illuminated the gray sky. Shortly after the flashes, black trails of smoke began to drip down from the overcast sky. The first 2 trails of smoke were from the burning wreckage of Cobra Immortals fighters. Scarlett felt confident that Fio and Wenry, the legendary Sky Pirates of Sector 858A, would easily outfight the enemy fighters just as they have been doing for years. But then, the unthinkable happened. The 3rd trail of black smoke spiraling down from the clouds was from a brightly painted red fighter. It was the unmistakable Porco Rosso, on fire and screaming out of control. It screeched down beyond a nearby hillside and out of view. Scarlett could only assume that the legendary ace, Wing Commander Fiona Leone, call sign Fire Bat, had been shot down. The Full Metal was nowhere to be seen but it was clear that the dog fight raged on above the gray sky.

Part 117: How the Rebel Angels Entered Prometheus (continued)
Scarlett had no time to pause for what may have been the death of her close friend and ally. Scarlett refocused her attention on the ground assault. She ordered her troops to advance on the enemy positions which were now in disarray thanks to Fio and Wenry’s attack. Through her binoculars, she saw the Crimson Guards in panic as secondary explosions ripped their defensive positions apart. She screams through the radio their code word to signal the charge: Yo Joe! The code word echoed across everyone’s radio and the Rebel Angels advanced on the field. Conrad (Duke) and Dashielle (Flint) were leading the ground assault. Duke and Flint pictured below: Without hesitation, the two men call their squads up and scream “Yo Joe!” The men leap from their covered positions and charged the field along side their armored vehicles. As they charged, Flint pauses and began picking off targets with his trusty S-6 sniper riffle. The S-6 was the world’s first combat electro-magnetic riffle. It fires its rounds at such a high velocity; the impact can be felt by anyone standing around the target up to 50 feet away. And in the hands of Flint, this S-6 should be considered the lightening bolt of Zeus himself. Duke spotted target after target for Flint. And one by one, Flint made each target disappear into fine red mists. It was stop and go from one covered position to the next as the attackers hop scotched their way towards the enemy’s defensive line. But the rebel’s mastery over the battlefield was short lived. There was a soldier fighting along side the Crimson Guard by the name of Hanz Krieger (Hanz: German name meaning gift from God; Krieger: German for warior), code name Schrott Eisen (German for Scrap Iron). Scrap Iron pictured below: Hanz knew exactly where the rebels would be attacking from and set up his hidden guns accordingly. And as the Rebel Angels advanced over the battlefield, Hanz’s hidden guns were unveiled and immediately thundered as they rained fire down on the attackers. Scarlett was horrified as she realized her troops were advancing into the mouth of an entire artillery battery. She signaled for Cover Girl to immediately counter with their own artillery bombardment on the enemy’s guns. Cover Girl and the Wolverine pictured below: The Wolverine unleashed its rockets with a thunderous swoosh. The rockets streaked over the heads of the Rebel Angels on the field leaving long black smoke arches across the sky before they smashed into the Crimson Guard’s defensive line. But there were too many guns to take out. The defenders were well entrenched and the Crimson Guards were putting up a furious fight. Crimson Guards pictured below: And when Scarlett thought the situation could not get any worse, the entire column of advancing Rebel Angel armored vehicles came to a sudden halt half way across the battlefield. Their engines simply died leaving them all completely exposed and vulnerable. It seems the mercenary Firefly was contracted to sabotage the Rebel Angel’s fuel cells. Firefly pictured below: The attacking Rebel Angels found themselves under a maelstrom of incoming artillery and fire. Duke and Flint saw their men being cut down by incoming fire while their armor was being pulverized. They’ve never seen carnage on such a massive scale. The impact from incoming shells hurled massive amounts of fire, Earth and rock into the air. The towering explosions blocked out the sun. Panic and confusion quickly ensued. The attacking Rebel Angels scurried for cover wherever they could. At the same time, Scarlett screamed over the radio, “Keep advancing!” She knew that this was only the beginning. Soon, all of the guns placed around the perimeter of Prometheus would be redeployed where they too would be able to zero in on the Rebel Angels’ position. The Rebel Angel’s only hope was to close the distance between them and the enemy rendering the enemy’s use of artillery useless. But at that moment, Scarlett realized their communications were down and must have been sabotaged along with their fuel cells. She screamed aloud, “God damn that son of bitch Firefly!” Scarlett turned to their Chief Mechanic Selwa and said. “I don’t care what it takes, re-establish communication!” Selwa pictured below: Selwa wasted no time. Selwa knew the comm.-link equipment could not have been sabotaged because it was so well guarded. So she headed for the only place a saboteur could have attacked their communications. She headed straight for the buried communication lines that ran from Scarlett’s mobile command station to the transmitters. When she came upon the comm.-link, she discovered that the rapscallion Firefly was there waiting to ambush anyone who attempted to undo his handy work. Firefly drew his gun and took aim directly between Selwa’s eyes. Selwa froze in fear like a deer in headlights. The 2 make eye contact. Despite her pounding heartbeat, Selwa managed to slowly take a deep breathe and calmly shut her eyes in preparation of receiving the inevitable fatal gunshot. But Firefly hesitated. One look at Selwa, and he knew she wasn’t a soldier. She was unarmed and she simply didn’t have the eyes of a killer. Her eyes were warmer and gentler than anything he’d ever seen in this cold, harsh world. After standing motionless with her eyes shut in anticipation of being killed, Selwa began to wonder why Firefly hadn't shot her yet. Or was she already shot and didn't feel it? She thought that perhaps she was already dead. She cautiously opened her eyes. She sees Firefly still standing there, but this time, his gun was pointed to the ground. Firefly slowly pulled off his goggles and mask to reveal himself to her. She was the first person to see his face since he became a mercenary. Without saying a word, Firefly slowly stepped back and faded into darkness leaving her free to repair the comm..-link. Perhaps he felt simpathy for her. Perhaps her beauty saved her. Whatever the reason, all that mattered now was that her life had been spared and she was free to repair the comm.-link. Firefly pictured below again b/c he's my favorite: Meanwhile, back at the mobile command station, Scarlett was focused on the battlefield. She saw her beloved Rebel Angels being decimated. They were in disarray. She could tell they were trying to contact her for new orders but they hadn't realized that communication had been sabotaged. All manner of thoughts ran through her mind including the notion that the rebellion would end before it really began. Scarlett decided that she could no longer stand by watching her men get annihilated. If her men were going to die that day, she was determined to die with them. So she took a deep breathe, turned to the woman behind her and said, “If I don’t make it back, you are in charge. Retreat our remaining forces back into the Badlands.” The woman behind her was Alison Hart-Barnett (Lady Jaye). Lady Jaye pictured below: Lady Jaye was the natural choice. After all, it was her that sparked the revolution all over the world when Cobra distributed her image as a wanted poster. The image was of Lady Jaye wearing her home made salvaged flight suit while making her escape into the Badlands of Sector 858A. Cobra referred to her as Rebel Scum, but freedom fighters all over the world came to call her the Rebel Angel. Lady Jaye’s wanted poster pictured below: Scarlett then put on her armor, grabbed her assault riffle and charged the field to join her men. She ran as fast as she could. The ground thundered all around her. Specs of dirt and rock were sent flying all about her. The battlefield was covered in smoke and flames but she knew exactly were her officers were. As she reached the first group of rebel Angels huddled for cover in an impact crater, she repeatedly screamed to them, “Keep charging! You have no cover here!” Then she remembered the code word to signal the charge and repeated to her men, “Yo Joe!” By now the men realized it was their beloved Captain Shana O’Hara screaming these orders at them. Scarlett screamed. “Our communications are down; you have to tell all the troops to give the codeword to others! Now follow me!” And once again she screamed, “Yo Joe!” This time, the codeword was repeated by her troopers as they all yelled in unison, “Yo Joe!” ‘ Together, the small band of Rebel Angels leaped from the impact crater and charged the Crimson Guards defensive line. Duke heard the band of Rebel Angels screaming the codeword as they ran by. Duke noticed something different about the trooper leading them. This trooper had a red pony tail flapping on her back as she charged the field. It was undoubtedly Captain Shana O’Hara leading her men from the front with almost complete disregard for her own safety. Duke was not about to let any harm fall on Scarlett. Duke looked over to Flint, but to his horror, Flint was shot and laid motionless in a pool of his own blood. Before he could think, the radio crackled with Lady Jaye’s voice repeatedly screaming, “Captain O’Hara is charging the field! Captain O’Hara is charging the field!” The crushing fear felt by every Rebel Angel huddled in the mud for cover was suddenly replaced by overwhelming desire to follow their Captain. Every trooper jumped from their covered positions and with their comm.-link re-established, they screamed the codeword in unison over the radio, “Yo Joe!” as they charged the Crimson Guard’s defensive line. Before Duke could join them, he screamed over the comm.-link to Lady Jaye, “Flint is down, I repeat, Flint’s been hit!” Lady Jaye responded, “I’ve dusted off my flight suit. I’ll be right there to take care of him.” With that, Duke placed his hand on his dear friend’s shoulder for a brief moment, and then sprang into action to cover Scarlett as she led the charge. As he ran, he could only see a few yards ahead of him. The entire area was covered in black smoke and choking dust. He found himself leaping and jumping over the severed body parts of his comrades. His legs were pumping as hard they could. The weight of his body armor and extra ammunition never felt heavier on his body as he sprinted faster than he ever ran before. But this weight was nothing compared to the weight of the guilt he would undoubtedly carry on his shoulders for the rest of his life if anything were to happen to Scarlett. Finally, Duke caught up to the advancing forces. The barrage of fire they received intensified as they got closer to the enemy’s defensive line. Shells were landing all around while bullets whizzed over their heads. There was a Rebel Angel trooper charging just ahead of Duke to his left. Duke heard the unmistakable scream of an incoming shell. The unfortunate trooper ahead took a direct hit in the chest from one of Schrott Eisen’s anti-armor guns. The trooper’s body from waist up vanished almost instantly. What remained of his hips and legs took another 3 steps before flopping to the ground. The Rebel Angels took everything the Royal Crimson Guard Dragoons threw at them. The Rebel Angels lost more men during this attack than they had over the past 2 years since their rebellion began. But it was worth it, the Crimson Guard were falling back. Upon reaching the enemy’s defensive line, Scarlett spotted Schrott Eisen standing a top a command station as he coordinated the artillery. She immediately charged towards him determined to make him pay for what he did to her beloved men. She fired her assault riffle repeatedly at anyone in her way. Duke was able to catch up to her and provide covering fire. As the Rebel Angels finally overwhelmed the defensive lines, Scarlett and Duke headed straight for Schrott Eisen’s command station. Scarlett jump into the trenches that led towards the command station followed by Duke. They were both fully reloaded and ready to kill anyone that got in her way. But there were no enemy troops to be found. When they reached the command station, they found it to be completely empty except for a note posted on the wall. The note read: this is where Captain Shana O’Hara dies. Duke immediately jumped over Scarlett and shoved her to the ground. He covered her as best he could. The command station suddenly exploded in a massive plume of fire, smoke, dust and earth. This is how the Rebel Angels entered Prometheus. Whether they manage to hold Prometheus and accomplish their primary objective is yet to be seen. To be continued . . . maybe. perhaps by someone else.

Let me be the first to say (in this thread), very inspirational - all the work you do.
Not just the figures, but the story behind each character as well as the world overall is very interesting. I can only hope to one day realize my work as you have done with yours. Awesome.

Haha, thanks. Did you actually read all that? I really didn't think anyone read these. It was mostly written to satisfy my imagination. I never get the chance to practice any creativity in my line of work.

Glad you liked the story. I hope it was somewhat exciting, unexpected, and leaves a hook that sparks everyone's imagination for what may come next. Then I hope others continue the RA verse with their own customs and stories. The possibilities are endless.

Hmmm, haven't decided yet if Fio lives. Most legendary aces in history have one thing in common: they were all shot down and killed. And it's not just Fio who would need a miraculous survival story.
Glad you liked the story. I hope it was somewhat exciting, unexpected, and leaves a hook that sparks everyone's imagination for what may come next. Then I hope others continue the RA verse with their own customs and stories. The possibilities are endless. "Yo RA"
