Member #2 of the Phoenix Guard. I'm hoping to eventually to the whole squad, but the other four are a ways off while I work on other stuff.
Parts breakdown: Head: Resolute (2pk) Storm Shadow with Desert Ambush Duke Helmet and Para-Viper Goggles. Upper Body: ROC Viper Commando (assorted web gear from fodder) Lower Body: ROC Viper Commando Arms: Beachhead Hands: Resolute Snake Eyes Legs: Desert Ambush Duke Tim Shin provided the beautiful illustration of Snake-Eater, and I can't thank him enough. He does amazing work. Check out his thread here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...rd-thread.html And here's the turnaround: I realized after this custom was done, that it looks awfully close to how the upcoming Cobra SWAT trooper turned out. I could probably have saved myself a bunch of effort by just waiting for that figure! .... Last edited by Airmax; 10-21-2010 at 07:47 AM.. |

looks great, well done! Where did you get the decals? waterslides? the new cobra trooper would make a great base, I'm holding out for the new SE to make one. Had the Snakeeater and mech head from Slayer Designs waiting for adequate parts.

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate you all taking the time to write! :0)
Mswi - The PG logos were just printed out on my Epson and adhered. I have been waiting for months for them to relist the Mech head at Slayer. I have parts semi-layed out already. Can't wait to get started. .... |
