" and here we go..."
I had this guy as a WIP with Green Lantern a while back. Figure is Ultimate Capt America's legs, holding up a MU Guardian torso head and arms. The cape was cut out retired dress material, very soft, very flexible, yet holds shapes pretty well for posing. I wanted an Arkam Asylum meets Origins style Bruce, so I went for a WWII belt ( probably his Grandfathers) and Caps boots fit in well with this I thought. Plus no raised insignia, the old suits were covering a Kevlar body suit (Frank Miller anyone?) and I dont think I would want a bullet target anymore obvious on my chest than he already has. Intimidation meets function was my goal and Im pretty happy with him. He will be going up on Ebay tomorrow, as always Im open for commissions, dont be shy ;)

I love the paint job and the work you did to the body. Including the emblem.
I'm wondering about the inspiration for the ears though? Even the tall height doesn't bother me, but the way they stick out from the side loses the Batman effect for me a bit. But everything else is dead on, and really is masterfully painted. |

Thanks for the feedback, since this shoot I have hit the cape with flat black just to help it photograph better, maybe I'll revisit the ears today. The mrvel characters head had the circular parts already their I just grafted the plastic card to the head directly above them, maybe if I shaved off the "under the cowl monitoring devices" and reglued the ears it will look better. thanks for the suggestion!
