My Joeverse summary -

200-300 years in the future, Cobra, a ancient secret society whose list of historic leaders/Cobra Commanders include Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, and Hitler, finally succeed in taking over the world through the massive use of nukes.

Survivors of that nuclear holocaust find themselves cast into a future dark age under fuedal law with Cobra dominating every aspect of their lives. It's a high tech cyber punk industrial wasteland world.

For those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, their only choice is to escape into the Badlands, vast areas of nearly uninhabitable wasteland, where they live as outlaws, bandits, pirates, and or freedom fighters.

Create your own band of outlaws/freedom fighters/mercenaries/pirates or your own Cobra strike force for this world! You can even have your own Sector, name it Sector WHATEVER YOU WANT, or you can be a Cobra Noble with your own land to rule. Rule it however you want. Create fantastic background stories and post away! Choose your side and let the creative juices flow!

Part 112: How the Girl with the Flaxen Hair Became Famous

Play this song while reading the story:

Wenry Rockbell, call sign Ghost Hawk, was alone all her life. No one ever bothered to learn her name. They referred to her simply as the girl with the flaxen hair. When she was a child, her own parents sold her into slavery. She was later turned over to the state during the time of rising tensions between the Mighty Destro’s Imperial Iron Grenadiers and her Majesty, the Baroness’ Cobra Immortals.

Cobra was in desperate need of soldiers and the Baroness was in even greater need of fighter pilots. Wenry was rushed through flight school but the Strato-Viper Academy decided she was unqualified and couldn’t use her. Instead, they sent her to the Baroness who was involved in land disputes with Mighty Destro. So once again, the girl with the flaxen hair found herself abandoned.

But it was there, in the midst of the Cobra Immortals Air Calvary where she finally found a sense of family. It was there that she met Wing Commander Fiona Leone (“Fio”), call sign Fire Bat, her flight leader. Fio became the older sister Wenry never had. The two formed an unbreakable bond as flight leader and wing woman.

Fio helped fine tune Wenry’s talents and forged her into one of the deadliest fighter pilots in the world. And after Wenry shot down the legendary Wild Weasel, the world knew her name. The mention of Ghost Hawk and the Full Metal petrified enemy pilots.

And on this eve of battle, all Wenry could think was that she would follow her sister anywhere and protect her 6 at all cost during tomorrow’s attack on Prometheus.

yes yes i must know!!! i have a general grievios ship i want to do up in this style for another project but i love simplicity of the design on these
