Nothing too special here, it's been done plenty of times before.
I just happened to really like the RoC Destro torso, but I still prefer my 25th Destro as my default, so I wanted to still use the body. Alyosha's store had the Interrogator back in stock, so I snagged it with my last order. Love the kit—it's one of the best ready-to-paint kits I've gotten. Slap a quick coat of paint on the helmet and add the details to the webgear, and voila, a nice modern update to the ARAH Interrogator. I actually prefer the pseudo-Nazi look of the Destro torso to the original figure anyway, so this is now one of my favorite customs. Simple but effective. Thanks again to Alyosha for a great kit. Recipe: Head/webgear: BrokenArrowToys (Broken Arrow Toys - Interrogation Gear Set (Powered by CubeCart)) Torso/arms: RoC Destro (single card) Legs/hands: RoC Destro (TRU SRO 3-pack version) Weapon: Uh... Some fodder, maybe even a Star Wars pistol? |

You've been busy Rex. All those Stingers are paying off. You must have enough fodder to retire on!
This came out very nicely. Pretty simple recipe but fabulous results. |

He was a cool concept though, a Cobra interrogator (that wasn't Mindbender). I think he may have been more popular if he had been single-carded or had more facetime in the show. Thanks man. I feel you, I always wanted the kit and just happened to find it in stock. There had been numerous occasions that I went to buy it in hopes of it being in stock and it wasn't. Just keep trying, eventually it'll be back. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 09-23-2010 at 10:44 AM.. |
