The Bat Mobile from Batman Begins was orginally constructed for the military called a Tumbler ..(it would jump over to set up the rope) Morgan Freeman explained. So if Morgan Freeman aka God in Bruce Almighty said so...it is so.
Designed by Wayne Enterprises Applied Sciences, the "Tumbler" was a military prototype bridging vehicle that was never put into production. When Bruce Wayne discovers the camouflaged car in storage and takes it for a test drive — his only question is "Does it come in black?"

really, really awesome; looks delightfully practical. My only nitpick is the torso. It just looks... off, somehow...

All that being said, very nice. I couldn't do it (due to my bad luck of being injured while cracking chests open and inability to sculpt.) Last edited by M. Aster Karver; 09-18-2010 at 01:18 PM.. |

Wooot Success LOL you guys liked it...
Well Overall I agree with all of you LOL One thing i do differ is that i think the boots are not bulky or secure enough... they are short boots and then he has those leg braces and padded protectors in front but I really wanted to go for a short boot look. Actually I was gonna use the boots from the generic 25th anniversary grunts and sand off some of the pants on top of the boot and then i saw these and BAM I was in love. Ok recepie.... The head and cape YES u got it, it is the cool head and cape from the INFINITE HEROES Batman from the 3 pack. to me it is the only really cool looking Batman in that line. The body is from the new POC FIREFLY. that's why the body and torso look bulky, I took the vest off and the under body has all these belts that ARE NOT painted in or detailed with color so i just ran flat black on the belts and it gives it an armor plated belted look that i think suggest (in my head) that he is protected yet flexible. I also painted some black on some parts like the boots and the knee pads etc and the arm guards (without the arm guards/gauntlets) The belt is from an Agent Helix and the gauntlets are modified Storm shadow gauntlets. The bat symbol is 3D cuz I cut that off a quick change Bruce Wayne figure from The Dark Knight. i took it from one of the "rubber" armors he comes with. then painted it glossy black. Glad u liked it! cool beans is the head comes off from a ball joint and you can put another joe head there so I'm using my 25th anniversary head as Bruce. XD lol I'll be making my Joe superman soon so I'll post for u guys! great eye for those that noticed the infinite heroes B'man!
