Well I don't seem to be able to get these guys out as quickly as I would like to with all the other things going on in my life, but here is the latest batch. I have about 20 more either being finished up or waiting for specific parts OR waiting to see what Hasbro comes out with.
Outback I haven't liked any of the Outback figures that have come out. So I grafted a X-Men Origins movie Wolverine chest onto Outback's lower waist and then sculpted the lower parts of the pants. I also ditched his headband, it just wasn't working for me anymore and I have made an Outback for JFAK contest a few years back and really liked the head so Outback got a new head too. |

Footloose
A lot of folks have done great looking Footloose customs wit the same parts. The only thing I did was to dremel away his shirt so it could be more opened and then smooth it out and add the necessary details to give him the open shirt look the original had. |

Mercer
Love Mercer, something bad ass about this guy. I think his last good representation was his first in the Animated GiJoe movie. So I pulled directly from that. I wanted him to look pale, mean, and spooky. |

Scrap Iron
I was really disappointed when Hasbro decided to not release the re-purposed Scrap Iron that was floating around on ebay. Why they didn't release that version first is beyond me so I decided to make my own changing a few things around and sculpting on his harness. |

Mainframe
I really like Mainframe, he was a techy guy who wasn't a dork, had a dark history of fighting in Nam but was one of the cooler characters in my opinion of the "86 Sunbow season. Wasn't crazy about the figure though, was a bit too thin and just overall disappointing. As far as what I was going for I wanted to recreate his experience but youthful attitude and love this Wedge headsculpt (which I used for my JvsC version of Mainframe too). Also spent a lot of time looking for the parts that I could use to get his knife holster. Finally got some great crazy glue that worked and after building up some reinforcements for it got it to work. His helmet was a challenge and a half. There is very little plastic left on that bad boy but it can fit on his head with ease. |

Dial Tone
Dial Tone is a guy. Can't stand this retcon garbage of late so since we are most likely not going to get an accurate Dial Tone I wanted to make my own. This head and basic part set up has been used before so not much new. I don't have an extra com pack for him or he'd have that thing. For me the figure looks kind of "unfinished" without his big ass communication rig so at some point I'll get one or make one and add it to this guy. |

And something a little bit different
Luke Skywalker Bespin Fatigues The new Vintage Star Wars figures are beautifully done. Although Hasbro kind of dropped the ball in a few areas. The paint for one, gave him a major paint job. Also although many people rightfully love the new headsculpt it wasn't working for me. This headsculpt from the Dagobah crash set of a few years ago always "felt" like Luke in that movie so I've been using it for the last few years. I had made some mods to it as far as sculpted hair, etc. I also did some MAJOR trimming to the diaper Hasbro game him. I trimmed the top of his legs and the diaper section so he is much more proportioned and closer to the prototype we all saw initially. Lastly I added a lightsaber to his holster with a small piece of thread. Yes I know it's on the wrong hook but honestly it is working for me and I like how it hangs here better. |

Did you sculpt the Outback head? It looks nice.

Amazing stuff as always. If only Hasbro's figures looked half this good.
