***Updated*** My new rendition of SS can found *HERE*
I adore the new POC line. It really is turning into a great toy line. Although it was nice to see SS in the line packed to the gills with weapons, I wasn't too thrilled to see the reuse of the ROC legs and sneakers. I liked where this fig was headed. It just needed that little extra nudge. Here's my take on the POC Storm Shadow. He's a little more traditional looking.

If you want him to look like he should post-movie you should put him in a block of ice from the waist down.
Those legs/feet look nice with the belt and weapons. Cool. Looks nice. |

Thanks for the comment! This SS isn't as much a Desert Storm Shadow as more of a running around Japan doing ninja stuff SS. At least he's now got shoulder armor which compliments the lower torso and leg armors. I am thinking of giving it a different color palette. Maybe grey and flat black for the legs, neck scarf & head and making him a totally new character.

I like it! Are the shoulder pads from the CP Res SS too?

i can't accept the poc storm shadow as long as he's got that "wet toilet paper" wrapped around his head...i don't care what look they were going for...to me it just doesn't work
so minus the head i think that's an awesome "glommed" stormie |

I wasn't to thrilled with the POC'd head either when I first saw it. However it grew on me after a spell. I like the fact it wasn't a ROC SS head being reused or the newer Resolute SS head. Variety is the spice of life. I'm pretty sure I like this SS POC head better than the upcoming wave 3 "Power Ranger" Storm Shadow. Yes they are. I also used the collar from the flame thrower Cobra trooper from the Desert multi pack. The red accents match pretty closely to his torso armor The shoulder pads are glued on the the collar instead of gluing it straight onto SS. I guess you could just glue the shoulder pads on to Storm Shadow too, but I like the fact he's got actual armour underneath his neck scarf.

Very nice adjustment. I've been wanting to change Storm Shadows legs too since I hated the pants/sneakers with the rest of the ornate/distressed look. Great look. I may have to try that.

Very cool! If I hadn't already stripped my POC SS for parts (did it minutes after opening his package, haha), I'd have done that exactly. His arms look a little long now, but some careful positioning of them should conceal that. Nice work. What did you use for the shoulder pads? I think they make the wrap around his chest work better.
