I usually don't like kit bashes, but man....that is a very nice improvement.

Very cool! If I hadn't already stripped my POC SS for parts (did it minutes after opening his package, haha), I'd have done that exactly. His arms look a little long now, but some careful positioning of them should conceal that. Nice work. What did you use for the shoulder pads? I think they make the wrap around his chest work better.
I used the shoulder pads and legs from this comic pack SS: and glued them upside down on the collar of the desert Cobra trooper with the Viper helmet (same collar armor that comes with any modern Barbecue figure. I used the Cobra one because of the dark red trim):

Already updated this kitbash.
I wanted to show off his shoulder armour a lot more. Changed the head too. Update can be found *HERE*

Eh.
I wonder... does the Training storm Shadow's armor work with this one? I have been tinkering around with an idea to do a leg swap with the resolute Storm Shadow, and throw on some Torso armor over his bare chest. |

I couldn't get it off him in one piece so I just sliced the straps right off. If you could get it off properly, I'm sure it would look pretty darn cool!
