This is a custom maquette (non-transforming figure) I built of a Transformers Movie style Autobot Hound. Made using a modified Bionicle & Neo Shifter skeleton and a 1/24 scale Hasegawa WWII Willys Jeep model kit. The kit was carefully cut up into a couple hundred pieces and attached to the skeleton.
Painted the entire figure. Base coat is Tamiya Olive Drab 2. Used acrylics and enamels for the detail painting. Also custom cut & applied the Jeep kit's decals. Autobot symbol is from reprolabels. Thanks for taking a look and for any thoughts you might like to share! |

Too much color and a face that is recognizable as a face. I like it, but Bay wouldn't. :P

Awesome figure, and good use of bionicles! And yes, as the previous poster said, the face *is* recognizable, but I see it as kinda Optimus Prime style, so I think it would work in-movie.
