Last night as I laid my head down on my pillow a sudden wave of excitement, worry and fear swept over me. Oh no! what have I done? I thought to myself. What am I going to do with that amalgamation sitting on my desk? and what's going to happen to my bank account!?
These were a few of the thoughts I had after I created this: My first custom/kit bash. I am not sure which one it is, as I have never done this before. What's the difference between the two? Nothing too special here, all I did was just swap some parts around to make a "M.A.R.S. Industry Weapons Commander," code name: Destro. Now, because of my tinkering last night, I have some questions: 1 - What's the difference between a custom and kit bash? 2 - How do you pull apart a modern style figures torso? So that one could switch up the arms. 3 - Do you realize that answering these question and commenting on post this will only further my growing problem? 4 - Why would you even think of doing such a thing? 5 - Are you really still reading this? 6 - Do you even like the custom/kit bash I have concocted? Yes, my friends I have been bitten by the "custom bot fly" and it's only a matter of time before I have little "custom baby bot flies" living under my skin. Here's what I used: Head - Destro Body - M.A.R.S. Industry Weapons Officer Coat - Paris Pursuit SE What the heck here's another. M.A.R.S. Industry Viper

All you need is a pair of pliers and a towel. Wrap the towel around the figure. Place the pliers on the sides of the figure and squeeze! Be gental but firm. Squeeze from the sides, not the front and back.

So, the fig just pops apart? Can it be snapped back together or glued?

Take a look in the customs sticky threads. I remember a tutorial thread dedicated to this exact topic!

If you have a vise and a sock that works good too. Look on the joecustoms site I think they have a video of it. The sock is to catch all the pieces.
