I've done this type of robot before but with this color scheme I didn't feel the need to paint the robot parts. Simple enough, looks a heck of a lot like a Bionicle, so I might still paint it.

How do you make something like this? Do you start with a Transformer and then attach parts of the Joe vehicle to it?

Back and Forth. Some robots are re-shells, while others are full on engineering questions. This one required a little bit of math to get to this.
I am holding a Transformer building forum at Fan Fair Fest on Sept, 3-4 here in Vancouver. Come see them in person. |

That is a very nice win.
Now you need to have Gears (G.I. Joe) driving Gears (Autobot). Then its epic win. |

Cool! What all with the nonsensical Star Wars and the Marvel crossovers, it's nice to see someone taking steps in the logical direction. Kudos.
