Seriously, very nicely done mate...
I've been trying to black out the ROC Storm Shadow body for dry brushing, as I have several, and was planning to use them as Legion officers in my Joe verse... But I can't seem to be able to take care of the paint rub in the joints... It's a pain in the ass I swear... How did you do yours?

I always use a spraycan of black model primer before painting all of my figures, spraying it light to avoid paint build up.
It sticks to almost any surface, and gives you a good base to paint on. After I finished painting I use a clear mat spray varnish to protect the paint. |

I do step 2 and 3, i.e. painting and using a matte clear coat to seal the paint... Looks like I'd better try the primer... Thanks!

They look great, I can't even tell that it's Sgt. Stone's head!

Great stuff OP. The sniper looks really clean, almost like it came from the factory in black.

I had no idea it was even possible, but then I came across this tutorial vid. I've since tried it and it works. Especially for solid black: How to properly RIT dye figures | Custom Figure Wars

Especially for solid black: How to properly RIT dye figures | Custom Figure Wars The blue pajama RoC figures take to a green/black dye mixture pretty damn well. Will warp the plastic, though, if you rush. |
