Originally I was planning to make him in shiny black leather with some flat black for the cloth sections. After painting, I realized that the figure would look better, and more realistic, with a dry brushing of desert yellow. This gives the figure that dried, dusty wasteland look. The car and dog is from AutoArt. Max consrtuction- head- Army of Darkness Ash torso- Ripper modified midsection- Ripper Right arm- (upper) Cobra Tele-Viper, (lower) Recondo, (hand) ROC Storm Shadow. Left arm- Paris Pursuit Snake eyes and ROC Storm Shadow hand Legs- (upper) Shipwreck, (lower) Crimson Guard Leather Jacket- Mutt Williams Shoulder pad- Buzzer and Arctic Assault Storm Shadow Shotgun holster- Star Wars Rebel Vanguard (modified) Shotgun- Marauder John right leg knife sheath- Copperhead knife- Stalker Binoculars- PTE figure Wrench- Version three Snake-eyes trisection nunchuka. Right leg brace- Sgt. Airborne straps, Ace gear, and metal rods.

Nice work. He looks nice and worn in. I tried adding a bit more 'dust' to mine, but I couldn't get it to work right.
Love the dog, and glad to see people actually making him. |

Love the dog, and glad to see people actually making him. I used Tamiaya's Desert Yellow thinned out and dry brushed for the dusty worn effect. I have to admit, I was inspired by your custom to make this one.

I do believe that we both used the same left arm and vest also. This is what I enjoy about customizing. Eventhough we make the same character, we each have our own way of doing it.
