Nice fig... Though I have to agree, the neck is a tad long...
No need to buy a drill bit... I have a cheaper, though more labor intensive method... I had the same problem with the ROC Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes (put any head on it, including Sky Sweeper Pilot or Rock n' Roll, which have deeper peg holes than most, and they still look like those African tribes that wear rings on their necks)... All I needed was a box cutter, super glue, sand paper, and that white plastic toy sealant stuff (you don't really need this, but for the extreme OCD, you may need it) I just cut off the neck peg as close as possible to the shoulders... I then sanded the cut end of the neck peg until I reached the desired length, then super glued it back on... Then, if you don't have green stuff or white plastic toy sealant thingy, then just glob more super glue onto the crack, sand down when dry, and repeat, until you have a smooth neck... Worked pretty well for me... Learned the technique for fixing a broken arm peg in Marvel Legends figs, but I just need the right gear. Until then I can be patient. |
