Non G.I. Joe INSPECTOR "TEQUILA" YUEN ("Hard Boiled"/"Stranglehold") by GDX!

Hello again 'Tankers,

Here's a custom that just kind of came to me, and it appealed to my loving to do obscure customs. I'm not sure how big a fan of HK cinema you guys are, but here is my custom of (the hero of the 1992 film "Hard Boiled" starring Chow Yun Fat and it's 2007 video game sequel, "Stranglehold") Inspector "Tequila" Yuen.

I'm a huge fan of the films, but oddly enough the idea for the custom didn't come to me until I had all the parts just lying there in front of me.

Inspector Tequila is made from:

A-Team Movie Face - body
-Dragon Ball Movie Master Roshi - head (played by none other than Chow Yun Fat...see that crappy DB Movie figure was FINALLY useful for something!)
-ROC Baroness - sunglasses (I bought like 10 of 'em at Target...just for the shades)

Since he really isn't a GI Joe custom, per se, I made a quick dio to make up for it!

Holy crap, they made an Asian head! I gotta get one of those for a self custom. Where'd you find it?

PS did you modify the head or is that how it comes off the figure?

The head is from a "Dragonball: The Movie" Master Roshi, it pops off the figure, but the neck hole was a bit big, so I had to fill it with a little bit of Apoxy Sculpt, and it fit like a charm. No dremelling needed.

While I admire the detail placed on the figure and the scenes included, it saddens me that you did not include Doves in any of these scenes. In my mind while in essence you have captured the likeness of the character, you have not captured the soul. More doves please, Playmobil makes great ones.
