I wanted to do a simple custom to try and improve on the ROC destro. I liked the way he was dressed for the most part, but wasn't really feeling the whole collared shirt and neck tie thing and I wasn't really keen on the color choice either, so I decided to re work things a little bit. The biggest thing to note on this figure is the replacement of the shirt and tie with a ribbed turtleneck sweater. I simply dremeled off the shirt and tie and took some greenstuff and carefully sculpted the sweater as best I could and filled the leg holes with greenstuff also. The rest of the figure is simple repaint. I wanted it to feel like a modern Destro that gives nod to the original at the same time. Hope you like it.

I dig the color scheme. Woulda made a nice variant if Hasbro had done it.

I really like what you did with him.
If this is what the ROC Destro figure had looked like, I would have bought him. |

Same here. I think the turtleneck is a huge improvement and brings up the overall look of the model and the repaint is just icing on the cake. Fabulous!

I must say that sweater is greatly sculpted, and it's a huge improvement.

this would work well for the obvious, inevitable, yet really cool red skull custom one makes from this figure.
