nice love the rescue detail on the leg. I use to have lifeline when i was a kid. I hope hasbro makes one soon.

Beautiful work. Lifeline was always a favourite of mine and you managed to capture him superbly in 25th style. Love the lettering idea by the way, I would have tried painting it and phucked up completely!! lol! Brilliant.

Haha, thanks fellas. Yeah, there's no way I could have painted that leg. He's not 100% faithful to the original, but I'm really happy with him, and there's no confusion as to who he's supposed to be.
I would have liked a flashlight on his leg, but I didn't have a spare that I felt fit right. The front leg pocket is longer than I wanted, but I had to cover the thing on his leg that I cut off (that weird thing on the SE mold... What is it?!). As far as creative liberties, I preferred the gun holster attached to the straps. I never liked that odd holster-looking thing on the front of the vintage figure. And despite being a pascifist, I want my Lifeline armed on the frontline. |
