Last Friday on toysrus made me spent some money on Iron-Man. I had seen this in pics but in real yet. Last Friday I saw and I got it. Initially I was even thinking of using the armor for a joe custom like fast draw or something and the Iron Man figure as a regular Iron Man. But once I put them together I decided not to.
The pack when fit together is just great and I decided to keep it as it is with some minor modifications. First the launchers that were supposed to be in the lower pegs I changed them to the higher position. Didn't put any launchers on the lower pegs. Initially I was thinking of cut and glue some missile tips to give a more real look (the original missiles are just crap in my opinion) but now it crossed my mind that a pair of machine gun tips similar to what Heavy Duty uses and are normally mounted in planes, could be a lot cooler. Problem is which ones to use and where to find them. I would prefer rubber ones so that I could tightly fit them into the wholes without gluing them on. I want to avoid major modes just in case I change my mind. Sorry no pics

Seriously though, pics or a proper description of the toy would help. I have no idea what toy you are talking about.
I do know of a weapon you might want to use. Have a look at this: Gatling "Mini-Gun" with Ammo Case (1) - 1:18 Scale Weapon for 3-3/4 Inch Action Figures EDIT: See detailed description for image in 25th joe hands and for parts diagram. It comes in pieces and just clips together. It is 1/18 size. It isn’t soft, like you want, but it is cheap and can be easily trimmed with a hobby knife. Some Blu-tac or similar product would make for non permanent attachment. - Ian Last edited by Exciter; 05-24-2010 at 04:45 AM.. |
