This has a lot of potential. I would def swap head sthough, but no matter which you do go with, give it a coat or two of the white you used so that all the colors are consistent. It's like when you buy a Gap black t shirt and express black pants. Never the same black. Myself, I have used the Res SE legs many times now and personally I would dump the lower legs in favor of a better set. Keep the knees, but use more traditional SS legs maybe. Your call. I can't wait to see it after the details are added.

I'd buy this figure if I saw it on the pegs without any question.

I really like it dont know if i would change the head or anything. I think the red cobra logo looks good with the color scheme. It does seem like it needs sumthin to really make it pop tho, but i dont know what???

Thanks man. You definitely helped with the quick paint tutorial and sending me to Capitola Hobbies. I took a list of what you recommended but had to "settle" for some Tamiya flats anyways. They worked fine.

awesome! i may make onevery similar, just with short sleeves, and the arctic assault lower arms, to make it kinda like the original 84 figure.

Well my idea is to put a white head on it and add a cobra logo on the chest, so it's just a change on where the logo is placed. I'll get on it in the next couple days. Thanks for the compliment. I'll keep the changes posted. I'm thinking of doing an armored red and black Ninja version also, but with different legs. |
