Custom posting guidelines

I just went through all my previous customs threads and made sure the photos were working and added tags to those that didnt have any.

yes as it cuts down on the site to link it from your photobucket or what ever you use to post pics from.

Well, if I might be able to offer some opinion... this just made a giant mess out of the custom section. No offense to x-hairs or DNJ but now the first 6 pages or so of the custom section is 98% their work... and again, no offense - but it's all older work that's already been posted/seen/commented on.

I realize they were just doing what was asked, so again no offense to those guys... but if EVERYONE here does the same thing, we're going to end up with hundreds of pages of older stuff clogging up the front pages of the section and obscuring any new work.

And another issue - isn't it a little redundant to put "Resolute Alley Viper by starwarsgeek" as my title when starwarsgeek is right below it?

Echo said moving forward. Maybe he should edit the original post with a disclaimer, but his 3rd or 4th post down in the thread he asks that folks not remake previous threads, just to fix broken image links and to add tags.

I have to disagree on the "one custom per thread".

Just last night, Dnjcustoms blowed away everything i was looking with more than 40 threads. (not blaming him, i see now he was following rules). I can see this happening with all the other customizers splitting their threads.

Personally, i think the way to go should be a thread with -let's say- 5 customs. If you have less at the moment, it's simple to edit and add more (ideally, by alphabetical order...so, if you did Gung-Ho, and later do Gnawgahide, simply add him on the same thread).

The name of the pics is a cool idea, i often get directed here while doing a google image search lol.

I kinda think they were trying to prove a point, and I don't think that is what Echo was asking for either.
