Great stuff, and I think I like the desert figures even better than the vehicle!

As promised, here are the pictures of the car in pieces, before painting. Also there are a couple of close ups of the wheel assembly to clarify statements made yesterday.
There were also some guns that attached to various hard points on the jeep, including to the roof. I left them out because they are the standard Chap Mei affair: rubbish. There is a bunker of sorts that came with the vehicle, and an assortment of handguns and tools and a soldier figure. I cut off the soldiers head and attached it to a PTE body. If there is interest in the bunker I can upload photos of this too. It is exceptionally crap, but with some paint and some gap filler or plaster, it could be quite a dio piece. I’ll let you know what, if anything, I decide to do with it. - Ian |

It amazes me when people take vehicles that are utter rubbish and turn them into absolute gems like this!

Wow, I really like the one with the trailer AA gun thing. I wonder if I'll ever find that at TRU or Big Lots, it could be a great vehicle to test my airbrush on!

Thank you very much everybody. I found that so more much challenging to start from a model like that to finish to a vehicle like that.
