I actually did try the Hawk head on him but I wasn't happy with it. I kinda envision my Mercer having helmet hair from all that time wearing the helmet.

Armadillo
This is one I have always wanted to do, simply because the original seemed so ridiculous. Bright red skintight pants? Seriously? Ugh. I always liked the idea of this huge body builder type guy being a driver though. So, here's my updated take on him. Parts List Head: Matt Trakker (25th Anniversary) Torso: Copperhead (Rise of Cobra) Upper Arms: Copperhead (Rise of Cobra) Lower Arms: Bazooka (25th Anniversary) Legs: Destro (Arctic Threat) |

rascal!: Glad you like him, it's not completely apparent but a lot of work went into him. I consider each of these a labor of love though.
I have a bit of an update for one of my previous customs here, and I am very happy with the results. Presenting...Mercer, sans his Elite Viper helmet. I also painted some on his arms and legs, which sadly isn't all that visible in the picture. I'm not sure how everyone else will feel about this head choice, but I quite like it. It fits my vision that I had in my head. |

I'm glad everyone enjoyed my head choice for Mercer. Now, I'd like to introduce you guys to my first custom I did of an original character.
Gnarwhal: Arctic Survival I came up the idea for him after ending up with the shirtless Storm Shadow and finding I had no real use for him. The pieces sort of fell together and I built up this character based on what I had. I also did a lot of experimenting with him as far as painting, which I am very happy with. So here's a mini-bio for him: raised in the Arctic Circle from birth, he's always had unnatural tolerance for extreme cold. As a child he used to swim naked in the waters surrounding his home. As an adult, he went off to study at Westpoint and served two TODs in the Middle East. His skills as a sniper got him noticed by Hawk who offered him a spot on the team. Gnarwhal simply had one request, "Please, put me somewhere cold". Now he's stationed primarily out of the very place he called home, but is always ready to back up any of his teammates who share his love of the cold. Parts List Head: Han Solo (Sandstorm) Torso: Storm Shadow (Arctic Assault) Upper Arms: Storm Shadow (Arctic Assault) Lower Arms: Snake Eyes (Comic 2-Pack) Hands: Snake Eyes (Arctic Assault) Legs: Snake Eyes (Arctic Assault) Jacket: Snake Eyes (Arctic Assault) Ragged Blanket Cape Thing: Dusty (Desert Battle) Bandolier: Snake Eyes (Arctic Assault) Rifle: Recondo (Jungle Assault) Clawed Weapon: Sabretooth (Wolverine Origins) Backpack: Duke (Desert Ambush) |

Gnarwhal is a slick figure. Great use of parts. Cool bio (no pun intended).
