Foxhole toys will also stock them (have some great photos of the figures on there too) but no prices as yet.
So that`s TWO US net dealers we now know of. |

They're not bad, but they're not really that good either.
A tad short compared to Joe figs. If your average Joe is 6' (1/18), these guys are about 5' 5". Weapons(specifically the M4) are too big for the fig's scale, and not very well detailed. While some may like the "ball-swivel" knee joint, it limits the range of motion for posing. It does give the lower leg the ability to swivel (sit with one leg across other knee), but a leg swivel feature should really be in the hip/upper thigh to keep the double-jointed knees. Arms are ok, but again the range of motion is limited at the elbow (we're used to that by now). Helmet seems ok, but may be a bit small for a Joe head. Vest isn't too bad, but the pouches lack any true detail. All in all, a good line if you leave them by themselves imo. The best part(s) of these figs are the removeable elbow/knee pads, and the textured baseplate/stand - which I just used on my latest custom "Delta Operator". The pads work rather well actually, although I'm sure it depends on what fig you're using them on. On my Delta, they fit just right. Not too tight, not too loose. Pic for reference - |

Interesting points Obi however the M4 is pretty much on the mark with the BBI & MarauderJohn one`s as in my review.
The Sniper rifle on the other hand is HUGE like the 1st offering sniper rifle from BBI SEAL/Delta sniper. Cannot say about the SAW yet as mines not arrived yet but from the photos does look too big & will be switching that with either a BBI or TUS XD one. The figures themselves I think height wise work a treat. Your going by the Newer 25th Joe heights aren`t you? Though they are on the same height of the ROC Desert Duke & I think as a 1/18th scale height they do measure out to be 6ft, not the Freaky New Joe heights some have. I agree with the knee comment & would LOVE to see double knee joints But Hasbro has shown it cannot do proper camo EVER (even at 1/6th scale), so we can Hope TIEKA Toys may bring an improvement further down the line once these are selling well. As generic troops though they do work very well. So have you cracked one of these torso`s open yet Obi? I`m waiting till the others I ordered arrived before I do. Plan on using one of the GREY 25th SE toros & adding the OURWAR arms (as US troops wear those tops), as for the legs well you think it`s possible to give them Double knee joints or just repaint a pair of Joe legs if wanting a major articulared main figure? The base are indeed great & being as they are hex shaped can be grouped nicely (when you have enough) for a display base. |
