THIS IS AN OLD VERSION! HERE'S A LINK TO MY UPDATED V1 SE: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...e-updated.html
When the 25th version of snake eyes was first released, I thought Hasbro did a fantastic job re creating the classic Snake Eyes for the modern era, however; I wished they would have eventually paid tribute to how he was originally put together. Here's my take on the original Snake Eyes design. Im gonna start by showing side by side views of the classic figure and my re imagining. I pulled the classic Figure photos from yojoe.com Recipe: Head: 2005 comic pack SE Torso, upper arms: 25th SE Upper legs: 25th CC Lower legs: 25th flash Web Gear: 25th Zap belt and 25th SE straps Wrists and hands: 25th Strato viper Cargo pockets: cast in green stuff from Zap leg pocket Dynamite: Cast from 2005 comic pack SE Anyone who had the original V1 SE knows that he shared lower legs with SGT. Flash, so naturally I did the same for my custom. Another noticeable difference between old and new was the web gear. I used the Zaps belt for the lower part of the web gear and the standard H strap SE web gear on top, but I cut and re assembled it into a Y strap. Wow! That is really cool! That may be the truest to the original that I've seen on here.

Thanks! I'm probably gonna update the photos, once I can get some better lighting. These ones came out way too yellow. You can't even really see the dark gray accents throughout the figure.

That does look pretty awesome. The head appears to be just a bit too large, but that might be angle. Regardless, stellar job, and as fireflyguy mentioned, probably the truest to the original yet.

No... you're right Derek. The head is a bit big. Something I should have considered a little more before I started this project. I read some reviews on that particular head sculpt and the size always seemed to be an issue. I'm probably going to re work it in photoshop before I put it under the dremel, but I'll post a new thread once I make the fix.
