Code Name: Scorpio
Para-Viper Commander As one of Cobra’s South American operatives Scorpio was known as Escorpiao Voador (Flying Scorpion) a name given to him by Brazilian Soldiers when they first encountered him leading sky based assaults on that country’s military resources. This was later shortened to Scorpio by the English speaking Cobra command structure. Scorpio has been selected to command Cobra’s new paratrooper division the “Para-Vipers. Not much is known about him prior to his involvement with Cobra, but he is know to have extensive training and experience in both high and low altitude sky diving, as well as some piloting experience. If the attacks he lead in South America are any indication, his new post at the head of the highly trained and equipped Para-Vipers will make him an even deadlier threat to the GI Joe Force. Escorpiao Voador was a Brazilian released figure shown here http://www.yojoe.com/action/int/br-voador.shtml I changed a few things with this figure rather than trying to make an exact replica of the original. The original uses Cesspool's head, but i wanted something a bit more subtle, especially since i already have a custom Cesspool. Also I do not like silver painted parts unless they are metal, so I gave him gray belting with silver accents rather than solid silver belts. |

Bad Ass update to an obscure international figure. I love your look and color choices. I would buy this in a second! Great work.

Somehow this masterpiece must have gone unnoticed - which I derive from the threads response and view count. I'd just like to bump it up so everyone can see it again and say that it's a hidden treasure among some other work I've seen which isn't quite as interesting (to me) but gets more attention.

Hey thanks for the feedback. Many of my customs go virtually ignored, while simple headswaps are touted as genius. Oh well whatever. I don't post much of my work on here anymore. It's nice to know someone noticed. Now, if I titled it "Baroness in a thong" that would be a different story. ;-)

Wow, I can't believe I missed this! Very nice job on one of my favorite figures (obviously!)
I'd like to see him with a sniper rifle as well. The translation for his filecard says he's a sharp shooter, I believe.

Hell, I loved this one Hydra. What did you use for the helmet (looks like a HALO) and head as this is one custom that I would love to take a crack at.
And you better keep posting here, because I, for one, love your stuff...or just PM me direct. |

I saved the image and plan to make one of these for myself. Not necessarily the same exact formula but, I don't think i would've been inclined to try if I hadn't seen you succeed first.
