Kai - modified/altered
I'm not really aiming for a 100% accurate G.I. Joe Resolute-based designs. I wanted some freedom to add my own mods without giving much expectations in terms of accuracy. Hence I called it Resolute Kai. My second character from my G.I. Joe Resolute Kai series of custom. I originally planned of just using an ROC General Hawk Body and a Flint in Cobra Disguise head. But these figures were not available in our area that time and I don't really want to spend too much in making a custom since I'm kinda' low in budget. I had the chance to acquire a Flint from the G.I. Joe Boxed Set. It has a good headsculpt and the TF Flint arms which I like so I gave it a shot. The difficult part was converting the buttoned shirt with rolled sleeves into a t-shirt. The tactical vest, belt, pants, and boot covers were sculpted. Belt pouches and gloved hands from random Elite Force BBI figures. I used Flint's original webgear with the shotgun shells on his tactical vest because I ran out of rubber straps to use and I like it better than putting the shells on his left forearm. It was my intention not to do much effort on Flint since I'm a bit biased with my Duke (considering the amount of work I did on that custom). But turns out that Flint has become much better than Duke. The sculpting of the folds on his pants, and the paint apps. So now the next thing I'll do is rework on Duke... or proceed with my other customs and work on Duke last. Yeah the head is getting to me tooo Munsters looking! Pop Sgt. Stones on there!
He also needs the shotgun shells on his forearm not webgear and he would be pretty spot on. |

So it's like i started on Resolute designs and added my own preference. Yours has awesome paint though, wish they all looked as detailed. Like the gloves especially, they look alot like gloves you find on Hot Toys military figures, almsot look like they could be articulated. |

hands are from Elite Force BBI figures. they can hold guns properly unlike Flint's original hands. |
