So I was looking through a modeling magazine the other day and someone had made this amazing model kit of an American Soldier in Afghanistan. I really liked the look and colors. It got me thinking. I started digging through my stuff and this is what I came up with.
The torso, vest, and helmet are from the Pit Commando. The hands and goggles are from the Cobra Para-Viper The legs, hip pouches, sword and head are from City Strike Snake Eyes. The knife sheath is custom made to fit the shin guards. The knife was from my spares. The gun is from Hit and Run. All paints are Testors Acrylics. I sanded the front edge off the helmet and modified the vest so I could mount the sword. This is only my second custom. And my first attempt to weather a figure. After looking at the pics I've got some more touching up to do but I think he looks pretty cool. Thanks for looking! |

Nice, did you use acrylic or enamels, cause you might be thining your paint out too much. But over all pretty cool concept.
