I wanted a Snake Eyes head that I felt really captured the essence of the 1985 Snake Eyes theme. No lips and the visor had to be just right. So I modded an ROC Snake Eyes head to remove the lips and fix the perpetual looking down issue, then added a visor from the 1985 Snake Eyes. The end result is pretty awesome!
It fits almost all modern Snake Eyes sculpts including ROC and 25th: Now the good news is, if you want one of these you can buy them from Hunter Artworks! Asphalt has cast them up and they are available on his ecrater store site. I can't post the link but if you want it just shoot me a PM.

not to be too technical, but Snake Eyes lips originated on the '85 figure so no lips doesn't really capture the essence of that figure at all.

Let the debate begin! His card art, comic appearances, and cartoon appearances did not have the lip prints. That was the one thing about the figure that I never liked. It took away some of the mystique of the character. His mask looked better on the card and the visor looked better on the figure. It's a combination of the two that for me, and many Snake Eyes fans, makes a better looking figure.

This looks really nice man! I agree with you about the PP head though. I got one at one point that didn't look 'scrunched up' as you put it. All the rest do look a bit small. Yours looks spot on and I may have to go buy one of these
