Yeah man That stuff is awsome. I really like the recipes on Doc and redstar, Leatherneck, and crankcase.

Great job on all of them. Who's head did you use for Duke?

Excellent job! My fave is Falcon. He's very true to the original. Now take your paints and brushes and go work for Hasbro!!

Operation: Make my figures look like crap by comparison is a resounding success!
And here I thought I was happy with some of them. That Viper torso is tragically underused I've now realized. |

Hey Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all enjoyed them!
xhairs thanks buddy I appreciate the comments as always. miked I appreciate that. I actually just took a bunch of pictures today of my next batch which include Sgt. Slaughter, Repeater, Deep Six, Outback-Night Force, Heavy Metal, Bull Horn, Big Ben, and Salvo. Once I crop and resize I'll put them up on the boards. MTN Thank You I'm really happy with how they turned out also. The Zartan body for Red Star just seemed like perfect fit. I always liked the Red Star figure back when I was a kid and the Zartan movie figure just seemed to give off a similar feel. Rojuno- The head is actually something I made years ago during the JvsC era. It is a Blowtorch head from the JvsC figure that came out but I modded it by sculpting the hair and in order to fit on the 25th style body I had to shave down his jaw line a bit. 89PILOT Thank You I'm glad you like them! 5h4rK Thanks I'm really happy with how he turned out. He is one of those customs that definitely look better in person. I'm not exactly sure why that happens sometimes but nevertheless it dd with him. I'm not sure Hasbro and I would see eye to eye on things but then you never know. Supposedly the collectors club was interested several years ago on the Duke head but I was never contacted directly about it and I wasn't crazy about what they were looking for in the offer. Crimson God Thanks I appreciate it! snakeeyes22 thanks for the compliments but I'm sure that's not true! I agree that the Viper torso is really really nicely made. It adds some extra cool "something" to the figures I've used it on, especially for the figures that I'd like to add some natural bulk to. MLos1 Thank You for that. More on the way! |
