Hey guys - I've been lurking here for a long time, and have been so impressed by the work you guys put into the figures you show off.
This is a fairly simple no-paint project. Only had to hollow out the BnB Mark Henry head, pop the ROC HD torso, destroy the BnB torso to get the arms out, and switch out hands and feet, but I love how he turned out and wanted to share. With BnB figures DIRT cheap and Mark Henry being a relative peg warmer anyway, I thought someone else might want to make one. I'm calling him Spikes because he looks just like former Florida Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes. But the Big Lob thread got me thinking...... ROC Big Lob? |

Very interesting. Is that a Mark Henry head from the Build and Brawl line?

I like it. I've been thinking that Mark Henry head would add a little color to my pale Joe line up. I like that head sculpt overall. Just haven't gotten it done yet. Glad to hear the hands worked in the BNB arms. That will help out as i figure out what I want to do.
I have been thinking about Undertaker as a Dreadnok too...if I kept the arms I could keep the tats...okay just thinking out loud. Sorry. I like it,but I wouldn't call it Big Lob, because when I picture Lob I picture a tall thin muscular guy and not this squared off of a guy. I'm thinking thinner arms and legs. It could just be the mental image that I'm working with. But then again that wouldn't be the only change for the modern ROC line, so maybe so. Personally, I think your guy looks more like a Spike. |

Yeah, I was thinking "complete reimagining of Big Lob", but we got enough of that with ROC already. We'll call him Spike and leave it at that. ;)
Taker as a Dreadnok is about as natural a fit as you're going to find. Would love to see the end product. Thanks again for the comments. |
