it works. the only thing is you might want to use a lighter gray on the crotch to match it to the legs.

That coat is a cool touch. I like it, but like somebody else mentioned, you may want to paint the legs to match the crotch or vice versa.

I'd paint the crotch.

When in doubt, paint the crotch, that's what I always say.
