I'm wanting to do a custom Claymore and Footloose. I'm having a couple of problems though...
I'm wanting to use madcrazyloo's and Mandingo Rex's recipe for Footloose, but not sure how to do the webgear/skirt and make it fit on the Tunnel Rat figure. It may be simple, but don't want to waste the pieces by doing it wrong. For Claymore, he seems like such an awesome character from reading his filecard, but I don't care for his Brazil Mission look. Are there any other pictures of him in different gear? I've tried to find pictures of him from Devils Due issues but can't get a picture of him. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, I'll post my custom Crazylegs, and Muskrat as soon as I get some pictures of them. |

i used a pit commando torso for the lower half of the body and tunnel rat upper torso. the skirt is already attached, once painted it looks seamless.

Thanks, for the responses! I'll try and post some pics this weekend of what I have so far for my Footloose.
I tried the Tunnel Rat/Shipwreck upper torso on the Pit Commando lower torso, but It's extremely loose when those two are combined, and it seems to leave a gap of some sorts between the upper torso buttons and lower torso buttons. |

I didnt' want to do any painting. My Footloose is the Pit Trooper (from TRU Attack on Pit set) with the 5 pack Footloose head. The webgear is Lt. Falcon's with a knife and pocket that mswi made for me, and the helmet is Breaker's with some leaves that mswi made for me.
For Claymore, I actually just slapped one together last week. I used Biggs Darklighter head on a TF Duke. His vest is a green version of the one that came with VvV Gung Ho. Don't have a helmet for him yet though cause his hair makes his head too big to fit a helmet.

Here's my Footloose wip. I'm waiting for a Lt. Falcon webgear to arrive and I'll switch to his webgear.
The recipe is in post above. Here's my Claymore. Still don't know about helmet yet or if I'll just leave him like that. I got the Duke for his accessories and didn't want to waste a perfectly good figure. I like this better than the leapard camoflage the original had. Hope this helps give you some simple ideas. Anything more complex (ie. lots of painting), I generally avoid

Thanks, for the pics Nighthawk! I really appreciate it. It'll probably be Wednesday or Thursday before I can get a picture of my Footloose up. Still trying to figure out how to get the Pit Commando/Dusty skirt on a Tunnel Rat torso, so that I can have a more accurate Footloose. Also, trying to figure out get his webgear to fit with the skirt as well...

I'm not familar with the methods you mentioned, but I did a Claymore custom awhile back, feel free to borrow from it....
TRU Troop Builder Footloose, Outback that came with the FLAK vest, helmet I think came from the TRU pack and gun from a Pit Commando, maybe PP Baroness. I love that Footloose nighthawk! |
