I dunno why Hasbro would try to recruit Rocky instead of Rambo for GI Joe.
I think its about time the Joes have him in the ranks. Ok, I'm thinking Gung Ho's chest and torso, and Dukes legs. Are there any Joe figures with plain arms (no wrist bands, straps, elbow pad, etc)? And can anyone suggest a good head to start with. |

I always thought the Quick Kick was a perfect Rambo base. Just add Snake Eyes legs and you're close to done.

^^^ MrClean beat me to it!
You might wanna look at some Marvel Universe figures for some buff arms. I'm currently "scouting" the Star Wars CP Luke from Heir to the Empire for his bare arms but they're not fit for Rambo IMO. |

Rocky is a role model (ie. william perry and sgt slaughter respectively). plus Rambo is a killer... which joes don't really condone. however, Rambo isn't a bad guy and his sociopath-esque profile is no different than most joes so yeah Rambo would be a more likely member of their attack... but Rocky is a role model (character wise)... but he would of course be the best to train joes for boxing and slurred speech.

That *is* a cool trick! But why is it that when they need Rambo they call Flint, and why does flint have someone else's nameplate on his desk? |

The Quick Kick chest and torso would be good, but he fetches a high price on ebay.
I dont even have one in my personal collection yet. Than again....the only things I want from that DVD pack is Quick Kick and the Mass device parts.... I'd like to go for a more movie Rambo. Stallone was buff but he wasnt huge like in the cartoon. ah, we'll see... |

If you want Rambo. Snake eyes legs, quick kick torso, and mind bender lower arms.

that depends. Mine is way too big. I'm thinking the SS without the shirt would be a good one. All of the cuts work for him. As for the lower arms, Shipwreck and check with somebody who does casting for the hands. Also if you can find a head from them that would be best.
