These are my first serious customs. After a couple 'attempts' I researched, got the right tools, and actually spent some time on them. This is what I came up with. S.T.A.R.S. Swift Tactical Auxiliary Response Specialists. The concept:
With Cobra's continuing advance into politics and pulling strings behind the scenes the government decided to create a new team funded, managed, and controlled separately. In the event G.I Joe gets their funding cut again to inter-G.I. Joe relations problems S.T.A.R.S. can step in and aid the team. Of course this concept provides a lot of room for building and could be carried further. So far I only have three members. Feel free to add more or suggest your own storyline. I appreciate criticism, constructive or otherwise. Like, "what kind of tactical advantage is bright yellow?! Geeez" Also, tips on sealing decals are appreciated. Thanks for looking! Oh yeah, and their ridiculous catch phrase, "Leave 'em seeing STARS." |

I hate swords on modern soldiers...
These look neat! And after seeing the newest Universal Soldier movie, I can appreciate those bulky overalls a lot more. I'd give Mitts some fucked-up hands, lol. |

They look great. The paint looks real good. Nice choice of parts on Cache and Rounds. The only thing that bugs me is Mitts. He is a hostile environment expert but his parts selection doesnt really convey that to me. But he his a sweet custom none the less. Great job man.

Cache was my first and the one I put the most time into. The other two not so much. With the exception of him the names/specialties were afterthoughts. I love to hear better names/specialties for those two. (I also think they're pretty lame) but I needed to put this to 'rest' temporarily so I can get back to things I actually need to focus on. |
