Dude, that is sooooo awesome. I have the "normal" Helix. I don't like her outfit. I would so buy that one from you. Are you thinking of making more and selling them?

All you need (aside from Helix and Scarlett figures) is a small phillips head screwdriver for the legs and optionally some boiling water (or hair dryer, or other heat source of choice) to heat the belts so they are softer and easier to slide off and on. The heads just pop off and on, no problem. There is no paint, no cutting, no cracking torsos/gluing etc. needed to make one just like this. Just be careful and make sure no parts get lost and that there are none left over when you finish. Give it a try! And thanks for commenting. PS: For the record, I actually like the Hasbro version of Helix, I just wanted an alternate one to fit with the movie/RIA team look. Last edited by blackbarn; 01-05-2010 at 02:15 PM.. |

Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. Glad you like the modifications. I have had fun with this figure, so here are a couple more pics I like, including a group shot of armored Joes, which I should have done earlier!
Note that I did paint Helix's original pistols for the group shot. I think it turned out pretty well. Last edited by blackbarn; 01-20-2010 at 08:28 PM.. |
