Okay, not sure if Dio's go in Customs, so forgive me. So I've been sitting around with this cardboard box and my TRU 5 Pack CG's callin' to me. SO I decided to use the day off to make a little Dio. Now this is my first, and crafty type stuff isn't my strong suit, and unfortunately niether is photography.
A little back ground. Okay, in my head I'm taking a RoC theme (nanomite warheads) and giving it a 25th spin. What we have here is a penthouse apartment in DC, owned by Extensive Ent.. This building also just happens to be near many places frequented by lawmakers and movers and shakers. Also, the recently aquired building also just happens to be closed for "fumigation". Enter the Capitol Arm of The Crimson Guard. The plan is to assassinate a prominent head of a arms manufacturer due to testify infront of the Supreme Court. This company also just so happens to be one of the few competitors of M.A.R.S. industries. Alot is at stake in this trial and the assassination will send all of DC into chaos. While liberals, and conservatives are busy pointing fingers, and the police and FBI are busy questioning all the wrong people, phase two begins... Three CG's will make their way undercover as maintenance men to the top of The Washington Monument. Then, CC will contact the Pentagon and issue his demands, with the threat of complete destruction of the National Mall, and complex beneath it as his bargaining chip. Here we find our CG's poised to strike, and at the ready... The Snipers head is from CS Duke. I used an Ultra Fine Sharpie to color the hair and eyebrows black, and add sideburns. Most of the props are from Marauder. (table, sniper rifle, wall locker, chairs, rifle rack, and crates) The RoC stuff is from Hawk, Duke, and SS. More to come...Hope I'm doing this right...

Looks good to me, the photo is just a little bit dark. I like the idea of these guys slithering around in the dark though, right under everyone's noses. That's what Crimson Guards are all about, hiding in plain sight until they take action...

The Squad Leaders head is an RoC Pit Commando. I thought it was funny to put him in charge of Duke. I know it's not great, but I thought the idea was cool. Wish I could have done a little better job.
You can't really see it, but I used double sided clear tape on the shelves of the wall locker, and set up the three spare packs with some Marauder accessories, like a sawed off shotty, two smoke, and two frag grenades. I was really happy with the way that came out, and of course I couldn't get a decent pic of it. lol I hope you guys enjoy this. I really had alot of fun putting it together. I think I'm hooked. These CG's are just so awesome, I think I'm going to need to customize some CG vehicles, and do some Army building...easy with the reduced price. I think I need some Freds though... Let me know what ya think, and where I went wrong. I'm sure there is alot. Thanks.

I'd suggest adding a marauders laptop to your dio. Or anything else that would look like comm equipment.

Amazing work. I like the sharpie idea too. I'm thinking it might work to turn an old Duke head into Frank Castle.
