This was my first owned version of Duke. I missed out on the original release since I was born in '82 and there was no eBay back then for buying (or even finding) out-of-production figures.
The thing he came with was a little weird, the tripod-missile-launcher-joyrider, but everything else about the fig was pretty solid. They could tone down the red a tad and make it more brown with a modern sculpt release, but overall, it's not a bad version of Duke, honestly. |

This was my default Duke as a child because i could never find the first 2. Always loved him and this custom is just spot on. I would buy that no questions asked.

I was too young to have the original Duke so this is the version I had. Brings back memories. Good Job

I think I quit GI Joe right before this version came out, or the year he came out, so I mostly remember him this way from the GI Joe arcade game! Can't say I'm a fan of the bright red look on a military uniform, but nice job duplicating him with this custom.
