The Steed:
Manufacturer: STARK Enterprises in conjunction with MARS Enterprises. Crew: 1 Performance: Max Speed: 120 mph Range: TBD (initial testing shows power cells to be unlimited) Max Carry Weight: 1,000 lbs Armament: On board Dillion Lightweight M134D Gattling Gun. It is a six barreled, electrically driven machine gun chambered in 7.62mm NATO and fires at a fixed rate of 3,000 shots per minute. The Steed's customizable on-board storage can house a variety of weapons and supplies based on the discretion of the user. The Steed also comes equipped with a remote based scout pod, complete with multiple audio and optic systems prefect for forward reconnaissance uses. Fully loaded a single operator can remain in the field for up to three (3) weeks without the need for acquisition of supplies. With the patented STARK Enterprises solid state, single core, fuel cell the need for refueling or recharging is eliminated. Furthermore the very nature of the STARK Enterprises solid state, single core, fuel cell eliminates the threat of mechanical breakdown. With the patented MARS Enterprises stealth technology, utilizing the latest in optical camouflage and passive electronic countermeasures, the operator is allowed the peace of mind of knowing they are safe from enemy discovery. Also included is a fail-safe countermeasure. Should the operator be killed The Steed, which is preprogramed before service to function only for the operator whose biosignature is inputted, will self-destruct. This peace of mind comes standard at no additional charge to the Department of Defense. Should the operator be incapacitated or captured The Steed will attempt to perform one of several preprogrammed Rescue, Release, and Recover operations. Should these fail the fail-safe countermeasure is engaged, after a full data transmission of last known location of the operator is relayed back to base operations. We at STARK Enterprises and MARS Enterprises assure you that this is the finest one man reconnaissance vehicle in production. We are so sure of The Steeds performance capabilities that we offer a money back guarantee. We will even go so far as to offer a quantity discount. We look forward to your order. Intercepted transmission from Frank Castle to subject "Microchip": The Steed... Yeah it lives up to its claims. Damn thing is one of the finest pieces of technology I have ever "requisitioned." I've loaded the damn thing for bear and it just keeps going. Yeah, this thing is damn fun. I of course removed the tracking and location device that you neglected to tell me about. If you think I haven't learned a thing or two about technology you haven't been paying attention. By the way, thanks for letting STARK know I was coming. It's much easier to evade STARK Security and SHIELD when you see them ahead of time. That's right Chip, I know you sold me out you bastard. What did they offer you? Money? I've given you plenty of that. Their "cure"? You know as well as I do that that's a crock of shit. There is no cure for what's coming. My Notes: I'm really proud of this. I LOVED making this thing. Each time I thought I was done I found something else to add to it. I know it may look like overkill but this is the ride of the one and only Punisher we're talking about. From the packs and tool case to weapons I wanted this bad boy ready for anything. I also wanted it to contrast to my ATR Punisher's cowboy look. I've included a variety of weapons for Frank to choose from depending on the situation. The only thing I'm missing, in my opinion, is a stand. I wanted one that could make it look like it's hovering but I couldn't find one. I will though. I will! Let me know what you think! Last edited by sgcaper; 07-08-2014 at 03:49 PM.. |
