I am all in to the Fire Fly/saboteur thing so I bought a few extra Storm Shadow figs to try this out on. I used Tamiya Acrylic paints and then Testors dull coat... What do you guys think?
Its on eBay if anyone wants the chance to win it. Last edited by Marine_Deadpool; 03-03-2008 at 05:45 PM.. |

Nice for a first time! I think somebody else beat you to the punch here but it still blows my crap outta the water.
EDIT: I have never posted any of my "attempts" at customs because they are considered a lethal weapon illegal under the Warsaw pact.

I wish you'd stop making good customs. Loud's starting to stink the place up.
That said, first custom or not, your painting skills are fantastic. |

Thanks guys. I did see that someone else had done a similar version, but with white added to the camo pattern. I can only attribute my painting skills to being an artist. I have spent years drawing and painting but never on a figure before. I plan to be more active on here if I don't get deployed soon. I'll have to post up a drawing I did in Iraq of Beachhead and Tunnel Rat in the art section. I look forward to chatting with everyone on here.

That cammo pattern is sick!!! I think you should do an actual Firefly figure with that cammo pattern!
