These are actually a couple of older customs. I've had pics of them in my customs album for a while, but I was curious to see what you thought of them since most probably haven't seen my album.

i like 'em both! helmet looked a little large on viper at first, but the fact it's removeable kinda makes up for it

Both of these are pretty awesome.
Great use of imagination with the female viper. Yo Joe ! Last edited by boomer77; 02-13-2010 at 04:21 AM.. |

Deep Six's head looks a little big without the suit but that is just really awesome what you did to it though. The female viper looks good too except the helmet just seems a little big though.
However, overall, I like what you did. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah, you think you can post a "how to do it" for the Deep Six suit? I think many would like to know and also how do you get the parts of the suit to stay together.

Man, that was a ballsy move on Deep Six! I can appreciate the time, effort, and energy that went into that one. Really good job! I always wanted a poseable Deep Six in that outfit... seeing one that's removable is totally cool!

For the forearm sections, I just cut a slit down the inside so it could slide over his hands and up his arm. The black sleeves on his upper arms are pieces of plastic tubing that holds bundles of wires together. The black pieces on his legs are from the cover of a three-ring binder. The thigh section was too small to fit over his legs, so I turned them sideways and added extensions on the sides from some scrap plastic I had. There wasn't enough of an edge to drill holes in them because of how much I hallowed them out, so I glued small pieces of wire insulation on the inside edge and glued the metal pins into them. That's pretty much it. I'm sure there was an easier way, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. |

You did it!
The Deep Six custom thats been swimming around everyone's head but nobody wanted to suffer through it! Actually, I imagine some folks wanted an articulated version, but you went above and beyond. Nice work on both and I bow to your giant figurative balls for going for it. |
