Mike,
The head on Fury is a recast of a sculpt my friend made for a Robert Conrad 12" figure. I felt the same way as you about it, so I had him sculpt a patch on one. The gun that Fury is using is a Sigma 6 weapon, I believe. I needed something appropriately Sci fi looking, since Nick always had some cool SHIELD gadgets!
