Unlike like my generic terrorist these are my simple paint dab, head/part swap figures. Remember my camera sucks, added in indoor lighting don't do the camera good it seems, ugh. I hope to do better daytime pics if the weather stays good.
Resolute Cobra Officer: Remember the poor sucker geting cut by Cobra Commander after stating the fact to him? I had a feeling the crimson vertions were the officers and the blues were the Troopers, not ones with the Classic Officer Sticker Logo in the helmet. Well, I wanted to to make something simular, and repaint the mask just no looked right, but headswap the black head from Shockblast from my Walmart two pack did, added extra detail to the mask. Used a black permanent marker to touch up the rims of the para-viper goggles, and IMO perfection. And after geting bumped off... My battle damaged UNMASKED Snake Eyes. A simple painting of the neck with Citidel's elf flesh and pop the head of the Rex "The Doctor" Lewis, I was pleased with the result. Not Exact on the unmasked part but can't find a pic of his current unmasked scaring during America's elite so not even sure he still have his hair. Only know the Scarlett seem to get very emotional when he removed his mask, so I guess it 10x worst then before. Hope you like these kitbashes. Edit: Added a few more pics hopefully for a better view. Edit: Better pics now. Last edited by Amalgam; 10-21-2009 at 04:08 PM.. |

For example: I'll upload what I have for now. |

LOL, that's so sweet. Annoying for me, these are my 3rd and 4th I did, my Armed Terrorist is my 2nd atempt after returning doing them agian, and my unrevealed failed Black Major is my 1st. I feel like I'm going backwards sometimes, but I guess less is more or something like that as I do these guys.

I learned from TTT, TANK_DRIVER785, Doc etc...and read the information on the stickied posts. I am nowhere near as good as the others here...but with enough practice, it'll work.
One of the first things I learned is that you can't go wrong with the right paint application and a BAT arm, makes Sgt. Stone an easy one to do, at the very least. Good luck and have fun doing it! |

Yeah, My work on Black major reminded me why I don't paint much anymore, my right arm nolonger able to keep steady like I was younger. And true, I'm not as profesional as those here, I just annoyed I can nolonger keep my brush steadly anymore. I still have my irwin Delorean reminding me that.
But Regardless I'm optimistic in my ideas. I still want to have a Black Major and Red Laser made for my army, I just have to figure out pull it off without require too much paint details. |
