Despite what many fans think, RAH actually lasted long past 1987, and in that time many new characters were released. Here is a quick stroll down 1993's memory lane.
BLAST-OFF Mega Marines were a pretty cool sub-group with well done molds, and Blast-Off has always been a favorite of mine. Sure, he doesn't look much like a flamethrower, and didn't even come with a flamethrower, but beggars can't be choosers. I went with a flat color scheme instead of attempting the marbled plastic swirl technique Hasbro went with on the original. MIRAGE Mirage may have been the bane of many collectors existence during the new sculpt era with how many times he was released, but the sculpt is really cool and deserved it. Like Blast-Off, I didn't particularly care about the marbled paint look and went with a flat color. For the torso I broke up the red with two different shades. LONG ARM Unlike the Mega Marines, the original Long Arm isn't that good looking of a figure. But that is actually part of its charm, and deep down there was a concept that could actually translate pretty well to a nice, bulky and good looking 25th style figure. Maybe I pulled it off, maybe not. |

I like what you did with Long Arm. I would've thought the original toy design was unsalvageable, but I think you managed to make him look decent.

VERY cool. I always love seeing some 90's greatness, and these figures look a lot better in 25th format than I thought they might.

The Mega Marines saw a lot of action in my Joeverse and Mirage was always a fav. Great parts and paints. If you do Gung-Ho I will die a happy man although I still don't think we have a good 25th head for him...
