I remember when I got my Sci-Fi... it was a consolation prize because the Snow Serpent that I had wanted at the grocerystore finally was sold... but this custom makes me want a new one

Until recently, I did not like Sci-Fi at all, and really couldn't tell you anything about him besides he's lime green and silver and made from parts that are impossible to make from the existing Hasbro library, but for some reason, I really am growing fonder of the design.
He's just so bizarre, and doesn't fit in one bit with my ideal Joes. But I really like him. So when I saw the Accelerator suits, I thought "hmm, Sci-Fi?" While the suit's not perfect, it works well enough for an updated one. The chest bugs me a bit, as someone else posted that it looks like a 3D Cobra emblem, but other than that, I would almost attempt to copy your formula... Save for the lime green. I simply am not attempting that. You did a great job, and the green turned out really well. It's hard to get colors like that to turn out clean, at least in my experience. So I avoid them like the plague! I almost thought the helmet was the Accelerator suit helmet, I may have to get that one... Again, great job. |

Looks good, although I think a reactive armour-based custom would work equally well as an RoC-themed Sci-Fi project.
Random observation: anybody else think the Delta Accelerator Suit looks more like something Cobra would design/use? Something about the shape of the raised section on the chestpiece makes me think "Cobra" for some reason. |
