As my name implies, I'm a big Firefly fan, and have made numerous customs of Firefly with some more in the works. I toyed with the idea of collecting the Sigma 6 Firefly(s) but didn't wanna spend the time or money getting figures that I would have a hard time displaying. Plus, they didn't really capture my idea of Firefly the way I thought it should, although the version that I sort of mimicked looked pretty cool. Anyway, I had enough parts lying around to give this a shot. It's not spot-on with the Sigma 6 Firefly, but you can tell that it has its influence on my custom. It didn't turn out quite the way I intended, but as my mom says about me: "I did the best I could with what I had to work with."

Here are some reference pics I found on the web of the Sigma 6 version:

Nice work. On the Sigma 6 figure how do the guns attach to the back pack?

Really Nice!! The lower legs and the waist area could use a little tweaking though. ;D

That's a really cool interpretation, I especially like how you got the mask to turn out. I have the Sigma figure, it's one of the few I sprung for, and I must say, he is pretty cool.
The Sigma 6 figure doesn't have a backpack, the guns attach to the back the same way a backpack would, which on the Sigma figures is a peg/hole system like some of the ROC figures and their guns. |
