How well does the torso swivel with those pads molded on? I'm working on a Night Creeper and am trying to figure out the best route for the torso pads.

Looks great. Very nice sculting. I would suggest painting the boots however. The glossy brown factory paint looks a bit odd next to the flat black, and pulls attention to it.

Well, here's my take on the character. I tried to find some reference but couldn't find much. The original design seemed more indo-chinese, even persian to some extent, than Japanese. I don't consider them to be "ninjas", but another type of stealth assasin that came out of the persian empire. The leader's name in the comics was Aleph, which in itself originates from the mediteranean/middle east. The serpentine sword of the original was SE Asian.
I used the Sao Feng head from pirates of the carribean and i accidentally have a second coming in the mail so I'm going to make a special blindfolded version. I got to thank Daremo for the tip on the armor, it looks much better than the original which was on a harness. "Aleph" has both a mask and a helmetted cowl fashion from Zartan and Roadblock's helmet. The mask was Zartan's mask with a sculpted design similar to the immortal from 300. I later saw someone do the same for a Red Ninja on Goodtogocustoms.com I plan on giving "Aleph" two chakras and a short blade. "Aleph" Head-Sao Feng Torso-Snake Eyes 25th Arms-Storm Shadow 25th Hip (o-ring added articulation)-Slice Right thigh-cobra officer 25th left thigh- Snake Eyes 25th lower legs- Storm Shadow 25th The night creeper has an original head, I just need to find a good visor. He will have similar armor as well. |
