Well what u could do is mold the, lets say foot and calf together without taking the T bar joint out of the calf then when the mold is done remove the original peices u just molded there will now be a spot to place the foot peg of the calf and place just the foot peg in place then pour ur cast resin and u will have a full functional leg without cutting anything and u just reused a teflon joint from a scratch fig... did that answer ur question?
It is hasbro quality, no cutting, just like you said. You really did a great job on the figures, clear figures are always in demand. |

This is seriously making me want to take up molding. Maybe red and blue laser bursts to attach to the guns?

Thanks a lot War, Greenshirt, and others!
I appreciate the help, I know it wasn't easy getting hm to look that great. I was afraid to ask about your techniques, figuring you may want to keep your secrets to yourself. Your generosity with your knowledge is appreciated. I don't have the resources to invest in casting now, but I would like to replicate some of my sculpts into more solid durable pieces some day. |

hey war292009 I just call them like I see them. as for anyone else thinking about casting I say do it. it's cheaper and easier than you think. like with everything in life start small and in no time you are a pro. how cool would it be in a year or two we are all making our own figures, showing then off, trading parts and selling them.
